Currently, he is the Chairman and Managing Director of APL Apollo Tubes Limited and serves as a director for various listed and unlisted companies across India.

Ms. Neera Gupta

Mr. Dukhabandhu Rath

Independent Director

Shri Dukhabandhu Rath is a senior top executive banker with nearly four decades of meritorious service in the Indian banking industry, including 36 years at the State Bank of India (SBI).

He joined SBI in 1984 as a Probationary Officer (Scale 1) and had previously served in two other public sector banks.

As a business leader and results-driven professional, he has successfully handled a variety of roles and assignments at SBI's Corporate Office, Independent Circles, Regional Offices, and other operational divisions in India and abroad.

He has been recognized as a top performer in SBI, winning several honors, awards, and recognitions. With a proven track record of consistently exceeding business, financial, and operational targets, he has ensured compliance with the highest service standards and operational efficiencies.

His key assignments include serving as Chief General Manager of SBI’s most successful Ahmedabad Circle, Chief General Manager (Operations) of the National Banking Group at the Bank's Corporate Office in Mumbai, General Manager in Uttar Pradesh, DGM & Head of HR/IR for Bihar & Jharkhand, and CEO of SBI’s operations in Bangladesh.

Mr. Rakesh Sharma

Mr. Rakesh Sharma is a distinguished professional with an extensive career spanning over 35 years in the banking and financial sector.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Meerut University in 1973 and earned a Master of Laws from the same institution in 1979.

Mr. Sharma began his career with the State Bank of India (SBI), where he held various senior positions across different branches, including the Overseas Branch in Delhi, the Commercial Branch in Agra, and the Commercial Branch in Nehru Place, Delhi.

His expertise spans multiple financial disciplines, including Corporate Finance, SME Finance, Credit Management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Retail Banking, and Debt Restructuring.

Throughout his tenure at SBI, Mr. Sharma demonstrated exceptional leadership and a deep understanding of organizational development. He also served as a Nominee Director representing SBI on the boards of prominent companies such as Suzlon Energy Limited, SE Forge, and SKS Power (Chhattisgarh).

In June 2013, Mr. Sharma retired from his position as Chief General Manager at SBI. His career reflects a profound commitment to excellence and innovation in the financial sector.
